THE BENEFITS OF DERMAL FILLERS

Stimulates collagen production for continuous improvements
Quick process with immediate results
Smoothen wrinkles
Lift sagging areas and contour the face
Non-permanent and will naturally break down over time
PRP is a scientifically proven treatment that can reinvigorate dormant hair follicles, improve the quality of your hair and scalp and stimulate new hair growth. Platelets are injected into the scalp to reach the bottom of the hair follicle; stimulating dermal papilla cells which are critical in hair growth.

TREATMENT AREA & CONDITIONS

What Conditions Can Dermal Fillers Fix?
  • Alopecia (hormone-related baldness)

  • Thinning hair

  • Poor quality scalp

  • Male-pattern baldness

  • Women -pattern baldness

  • Burn scalp

  • Scalp injury

  • Balding

To start PRP treatment, a blood sample is taken from the patient. This blood sample is processed in a high-tech device that breaks down platelets and releases platelet-derived growth factors.

PRP is then injected into the dermis, stimulating the regeneration of aged hair follicles. As a result, high-quality and strong hair grows back. This is achieved by increasing vascularization of the treated area, promoting collagen production and neutralizing the negative effects of free radicals. All this prevents cell aging. At the same time, PRP stimulates other follicular units to produce stronger and more resilient hair.

FAQs

Am I suitable for treatment?

Hair loss can occur in both men and women, and this procedure is designed with that in mind. PRP is equally effective as a way to counteract female pattern baldness as it is for our male patients. The best candidates for a PRP treatment are patients who have slight to moderate hair loss, who want to take charge and regain confidence in their look.

How do Anti-Hair Loss PRP works?

Similar to other PRP treatment, it will begin with taking out the blood sample from the patients before treated it in a centrifuge to separate into platelets, blood components and water. The concentrated number of platelets that extracted out from the blood which release essential growth proteins will be injected back into the area. This will activate hair follicles and stimulate new hair cells.

Is there any side effects?

As injecting PRP treatment involves using your own blood platelets, there are minimal to almost no adverse reaction to the injections. However, you may experience mild scalp tenderness, swelling and slight bruising over the injection site. This is no downtime related to treatment. You can continue and resume your daily activities as usual.

When can I see the result?

You can see visible results almost immediately following the treatment. Optimal results will start to show after 3 to 4 weeks. Results can vary for each individual.

What is the difference between dermal filler and Botox?

Dermal fillers and Botox are two different techniques used to reduce signs of aging around the face. Botox works as a muscle relaxant to decrease muscle activity that causes wrinkles.

Dermal fillers target a certain area and stimulate collagen production while plumping and lifting the skin caused by a loss of collagen. Dermal fillers for your jawline can soften sharp angles, add volume to hollow cheeks, and reduce static lines and wrinkles that are always visible regardless of your facial expressions.

How often should I go for this treatment?

The initial treatments can be done once every 3 to 4 weeks – following this, the results should last up to 6 months. To maintain the quality of your skin, you can get this treatment done once every 6 months.

How long will dermal filler last?

Dermal Filler last between 6 to 18 months although there is variation between individuals, as well as according to the type, quantity and depth of the dermal filler placed within your skin. Fillers are not a permanent procedure and eventually the hyaluronic acid will get reabsorbed naturally into the body. You are advised to visit your doctor every 6 to 9 months for reevaluation.
